Snapheal 2.2 Update

Not long ago I reviewed Snap heal a great photo editor from developers MacPhun. They have since refined the app even further. Several new features and a new algorithm have been added to make is even better.

Pro photographers will also find this an improvement as there are better support for the RAW format on a number of cameras, together with new retouch tools this looks to be a great new update.

Although there has been some changes to this app and some new features, it hasn’t lost the simplicity and ease of use that we have come to expect from Snapheal. But those new refined tools are a great welcome to this app. It is now a slightly smoother a quicker experience.

I am sure many photographers are going to love the flexibility of RAW. This high end format can now be enjoyed with much more affordable software rather than higher priced photo editors that maybe too complex for some. Snap heal has of course retained its simple three step editing workflow (Erase/ Retouch/ Adjust). Sharing your photos is also still a quick one click process.

That great erase feature is still there, making touching up parts of an image a breeze. If you own a graphics tablet the experience is even better.

Currently there is a promotion with 70% the regular price. As always, Snapheal is available in Mac App Store. If you haven’t purchased it yet, now would be a good time to give this app a try.
